Most Parents Believe They know "What" Their Teens are Spending Their “Spending Money” On


Greenfield Online/Ciao Surveys asked approximately 1,200 respondents if they thought they knew on what their teens were spending their spending money. 60% of parents were fairly sure they knew where that money was going. 35% admitted that “sometimes” they know. 4% don’t have any idea, and 1% weren’t sure.



When we asked parents how their teens were earning their spending money they were more certain.
