Do you consider yourself a conscientious shopper? What persuades consumers to put certain items in their grocery cart? In a recent Greenfield Online and Invoke Solutions census representative Invoke Live Session, over 250 North American respondents were asked about their experience when grocery shopping and brand loyalty.

The 97.8% of Greenfield Online respondents stated they shop at supermarkets, while 35.7% shop at farmer’s markets and another 33.8% shop in specialty/gourmet food stores. (Answers were not mutually exclusive)

Greenfield Online respondents were asked when buying groceries, specifically foods and beverages, what factors did they feel are important besides price. The chart below highlights the statistics. (Answers were not mutually exclusive)
