Live Without TV

Television viewing accounts for a significant portion of daily life in today's world. In a recent Greenfield Online/Ciao Surveys census representative omnibus survey, over 1,000 North American respondents were asked about their television viewing habits. . . 70% of respondents stated they watch five or more hours a week of television.

When respondents were asked how long they could last without watching TV, 21% stated they could last between one and three days without watching television. And a whopping, 19% of respondents said they could live without TV forever!

31% of Greenfield Online/Ciao Surveys North American respondents said they own two television sets, while 26% stated they own more than four in their household.
